Ensure proper service according to established Hotel Cerro standards across all meal periods and service venues; Brasserie SLO, Sweet Life of Pie, Mission Fig Patio, Lobby Lounge, and Pool Deck. The Restaurant Floor Manager is responsible for managing the floor staff with a hands-on management style (touch every table, and assist where you are needed on the floor, etc) and maintaining complete guest satisfaction through continuous dynamic scheduling and close coordination with the kitchen and hotel staff.
Provide exceptional service and elevate the experience of every Hotel Cerro guest and every patron that you come in contact with. Be familiar and maintain strong knowledge of the food and beverage menus in our outlets so you may answer any and all questions and concerns. Be aware of customer presence at all times so you can accurately and adequately attend to all guest needs regardless if it’s a beverage order or dropping off food. Guarantee smooth and efficient service on each shift you work and help your team exceed guest expectations. At all times maintain a clean, organized and sanitary work environment. Maintain repour with your guests while being able to anticipate the guest's needs and respecting their boundaries.
Greet and seat all guests in a friendly and professional manner, handle all incoming calls in a helpful and informative manner, and maintain a clean entrance and work area. When at your workstation be sure to greet all guests who walk by and treat everyone with respect. You are the first impression and last impression on our Brasserie SLO guests and it is important to make them feel welcome and at home.
It will be imperative to have a strong understanding of all ingredients that go into creating our menus so you may better describe the offerings to our guests. You will be responsible for serving menu items to guests in a prompt, friendly, and courteous manner while also looking outside your section to ensure smooth service all around the food and beverage outlets. To succeed in this role, you will need to have a positive attitude while thriving under pressure and coordinating with other Food and Beverage team members. The Revenue Manager has the primary goal of maximizing revenue for the hotel. This position will establish and maintain budgets and sales and pricing strategies.
The Guest Service Agent responsibilities include assisting guests with concierge services, managing hotel reservations, and providing information about rooms, rates, and other hotel amenities. Guest Service Agents report directly to the Rooms Division Manager and Guest Services Manager.
Overnight Guest Service Agent responsibilities include managing all overnight operations. Assisting guests, managing reservations and providing information about rooms, rates and other hotel amenities. Overnight Guest Service Agents report directly to the Rooms Division Manager and Financial Controller.
Ensures high level of guest satisfaction as well as for the financial results of the department with a focus on controlling the expenses and ensuring maximum room revenues are achieved.
The Housekeeper Supervisor inspects rooms daily and ensures they meet Hotel Cerro’s standards. The Housekeeping Supervisor reports directly to the Head Housekeeper & Assistant Head Housekeeper.
The primary responsibilities are inspecting guestrooms, assisting with training and motivating team members.

Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning guest rooms & suites and meeting Hotel Cerro’s standards of service and cleanliness. They are responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies, handling guests’ requests, and using correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces.

Overnight Housekeeper promotes a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly.

The Esthetician administers professional facials, body treatments and waxing services to our guests. Must possess a thorough knowledge of skincare and body care. Must possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness and beauty solutions to meet the needs of our guests.
As part of the Kitchen Team, each member will work to produce food for Brasserie SLO, Life of Pie, and other venues within Hotel Cerro. Cooks will be assigned duties on a daily basis, in addition to tasks ongoing. All Kitchen Team members will help with set-up, production, and cleanup of any areas where food is prepared or provided.
Being a Busser/Barback is an integral part of our restaurant team and you will help create the foundation of a clean, efficient, and anticipatory service for Brasserie SLO guests. We are all equal at Brasserie SLO and it will be important to lend care and support to our back of house team members on a regular basis. Support the restaurant team in providing prompt and courteous service to guests. Remove all dirty glassware, dishware, and silverware. Ensure that each member of your Brasserie SLO team is succeeding by lending a helping hand when possible. Everything not being used at the table must be removed immediately to reduce table clutter. After doing this, clear and reset all tables. Create a welcoming atmosphere and provide exceptional hospitality by having a working knowledge of Hotel Cerro and Brasserie SLO, to be able to respond to guest questions and speak with enthusiasm about other services. The Maintenance Engineer is primarily responsible for Hotel upkeep in regards to the physical building structure, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and related equipment with particular attention towards safety and guest satisfaction, along with acting as supplemental support for maintaining the green spaces on the property.
The Massage Therapist administers professional massage and body treatments to our guests.
Must have a thorough knowledge of numerous massage modalities, and general knowledge of various body treatments- scrubs and wraps. Must possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness solutions to meet the needs of our guests.
